I came across this great article today, for a this start up called SeeClickFix . This is not just another social tool to keep in touch with friends and family, it actually  enables you to get engage with your local government. Literally just take a pic of a civic issue you are having with your  phone, upload it, have your issue gather votes (like your own little private petition), and actually track the progress of your posted issue until “closed out”. Social media taking “rock the vote” to the next level.
